This Privacy Policy explains how SMART CLICK IT SOLUTION LTD, trading as Local Web Foundry (“Local Web Foundry”, “we”, “us”), collects and uses personal information. We are the data controller for the processing described here.

• Information you submit through our contact form, email or project communications.
• Business information and links you provide, such as a Google Business Profile or existing website.
• Transaction and billing records. Payment card details are processed by the payment provider and are not stored by us.
• Basic technical information recorded by our hosting systems, such as IP address, browser type, requested pages and timestamps.
• Publicly available business contact information used for relevant business-to-business outreach.

3. How and why we use information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare homepage concepts and proposals, deliver contracted services, process payments, provide support, maintain security, keep business records and send relevant business communications.

Depending on the circumstances, our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, consent, or our legitimate interests in operating and developing our business. When we contact a business using publicly available details, we do so on the basis of legitimate interests and keep the message relevant to that business.

4. Business outreach and opting out

We may contact business addresses about services we reasonably believe are relevant. Every recipient can ask us to stop. Email hello@localwebfoundry.com or use the opt-out instructions in our message. We will keep a minimal suppression record so we can respect that request.

5. Sharing information

We share information only when needed with service providers that support hosting, email, payments, accounting, security and project delivery; with professional advisers; or where required by law. Payment options may include Stripe, Wise and PayPal, each of which processes information under its own privacy policy. We do not sell personal information.

6. International transfers

Some providers or team members may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as recognised contractual protections.

7. Retention

We retain enquiries and sales communications only as long as reasonably necessary, normally up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction. Contract, transaction and accounting records may be kept longer where required by law. Suppression records may be retained to honour opt-out requests.

8. Cookies and technical services

Our current website does not use advertising cookies or behavioural analytics. Essential hosting logs may be created for security and reliability. The site loads web fonts from Google, which may receive technical request information such as your IP address and browser details.

9. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent.
